Creating a Spatial Experience in Cleverstory
Spatial Experience is designed to take your content presentation to a whole new level, offering a visually rich, interactive experience. It allows for horizontal and vertical scrolling, making it more engaging and appealing than traditional static formats like PDFs & PPTs. With spatial, users can effortlessly create immersive content that captures attention and encourages exploration.
Here’s a quick guide to get you started on building your spatial experience:
How to Create a Spatial Experience:
Log in to your workspace:
After logging into your Cleverstory workspace, navigate to the Create New Storyboard option.
Choose to create a Spatial Experience and give your experience a name, then click Create from scratch.
Building Your Experience:
💡 Remember to save the changes made to your menu layout before creating a new page.
Managing Pages and Slides: To begin building your Spatial Experience, you can create pages and slides within your storyboard.
Creating Pages: To create a new page, click on the Page Settings icon located at the top left of the editor, next to the "+" icon for adding elements.
Ambiance: Create a consistent, refined ambiance across all slides and pages with a fixed background image, color, or video of your choice. This fixed background element (image, color, or video) creates a unified atmosphere across your entire experience.
Menu Design: Fine-tune your navigation menu's colors, layout, and icons to resonate with your unique presentation style. To customize your menu, navigate to the Menu Settings located in the top-right corner of the editor.
Slide Background: Click on the Slide Settings option within the editor and choose a background image, color, or video for each slide. (Colour limitations)
HOW TO NAVIGATE PAGES & SLIDES IN SPATIAL
The Page Details icon, right next to Page Settings, shows a list of all your pages and their slides. Here, you can create, clone, and move slides up or down within any page.
Pages are the broader sections that house your content, while slides are the individual components within each page, adding depth and structure to your content. Together, pages organize the overall experience, and slides offer a way to break up the content within each page, creating a layered, interactive presentation.
You can also navigate through slides using the up and down arrows on the right side of the editor, and if needed, clone slides using the clone icon below the arrows. To switch between pages, return to Page Settings and select the desired page.
Preview
With the preview option, you can get a first-hand experience of what your audience will be viewing
Live Navigation:
Let your audience explore the presentation at their own pace with easy-to-understand tabs and immersive full-screen options.. Users will see a menu with tabs at the bottom, where clicking on a page tab will scroll horizontally to that page, while vertical scrolling will navigate between slides within the page.
Additionally, users will have the option to view all pages in a table of contents format using a dedicated icon, along with a full-screen option for a more immersive view.
