The Brandkit in Cleverstory is a workspace-level feature that allows administrators to define and manage a set of brand-approved creative elements. These elements appear in the design palette, making it easier for teams to stay visually consistent when building content.

With Brandkit, you can centralize control over colors, fonts, media, and UI components—so all content created in your workspace aligns with your brand standards.

Accessing Brandkit

To access Brandkit:

  1. Go to your Workspace Settings.

  2. Click on the Brandkit tab in the left panel.

Only workspace admins can view and make changes to the Brandkit.

What You Can Add in Brandkit

The Brandkit allows you to manage a wide range of elements that appear in the design palette for all workspace users.

Media

  • Images: Upload brand-specific image assets.

  • Videos: Add videos to be reused in multiple stories.

  • Icons/Shapes: Upload icons or shape assets in SVG or image format

Colors

  • Define a palette of solid brand colors to be used across content.

Buttons

  • Configure button styles for consistent use across projects.

Text

  • Text Styles: Predefined font weights, sizes, and line heights for headings, subheadings, and body text.

  • Font Families: Upload or assign brand-specific fonts.

Components

These are available as static elements that can be uploaded and configured:

  • Forms

  • Sections

  • Carousels

  • Asset Cards

  • Menus

  • Seek Widgets

  • Embed Elements

  • Frames (requires Frames-as-Page feature to be enabled)

All the elements you add here will be available under the Design Palette in the editor, organized by category.

Restricting the Design Palette to Brand Elements

Admins have the option to enable "Show Only Brand Elements":

  • When this is turned on, workspace users will only see the brand-approved assets in the design palette.

  • Default elements provided by Cleverstory will be hidden.

This is especially useful for ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines.

Who Can Manage Brandkit?

Only workspace admins can access and edit the Brandkit settings. All updates made to Brandkit are reflected immediately across the workspace for all users.
